Doubletree Hilton Missoula Wedding

Wedding

January 2, 2019

Montana is made for weddings. There are few places in the world as beautiful, serene, and peaceful as Montana. When I was asked to capture this wedding for a Missoula couple, I jumped on the chance because a winter wedding in this gorgeous state–what photographer could pass that up?!

This couple shares a love not only for each other, but for their home town, Missoula–which just so happens to be the home of the Griz Nation. We even got to take their engagement pictures in the Griz’s stadium, which was quite the treat for me! These football colors were proudly woven throughout the day from his tuxedo to the cupcakes…to a very special guest who made an appearance at their reception.

From the moment we made it after super snowy roads, I knew that this day was going to be dynamite for photos. The sun soaked the snow covered peaks surrounding the hotel, and the Double Tree Hilton was nestled next to a flowing icy river which provided a show stopping backdrop for all our portraits! To say I was in a photographer’s heaven would be an understatement.

Congrats to Kara and Zach!! I hope you enjoy looking through these memories that you can keep forever!! Cheers!
