To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever done an indoor maternity shoot before, but this Helena home maternity shoot won’t be the last! I fell in love with this idea! Maggie and I had been planning on doing her maternity shoot indoors due to her being 30 weeks in January. Due to what I thought would be one of the coldest months of the year to do an outdoor shoot, Mother Nature proved me wrong by showing off record warm temps.
However, after sickness struck, we were forced to push it to February when she was 34 weeks. As we all know…babies come when they want to, so we both wanted to do her shoot as soon as we could! When I arrived on the morning of her shoot, a fresh blanket of new snow covered the ground outside which created some dreamy light in her beautiful home. Between the creamy-dreamy light, the sweetest couple that felt like new friends, and the sweetest pup on the planet…my heart was full when I left! I cannot wait to recreate some of these images in their home again when baby arrives! How neat will that be?!
Even better? We discovered we were in the same neighborhood! Congrats you two!! I sure can’t wait to see you pushing a stroller in front of my house soon!!!
