Chase smiled as he recounted the story of one of the first nights he met Annie. He was the designated driver for a group of friends, and he purposely dropped her off last. They bonded quickly that her last name was actually his first name, and the rest is history. This sweet story still brought a giggle out of Annie as Chase told it. Listening to the way people meet is one of my favorite things to do. It brings so many great memories and feelings to the shoot and I can’t help but take a step back and admire young love. How can you beat it?! It’s my humble belief that these two are going to go far in life. They compliment each other in so many ways, it genuinely makes my heart happy!
Annie and Chase met me for a sunrise shoot out at Canyon Ferry Lake bright and early after a midnight snowstorm. They braved the cold and were all smiles as we hiked through a snowy beach to the most beautiful island backdrop I could ever dream of. A couple that is adventurous and in love? Sign me up! These two didn’t bat an eye when we tried to find a safe way to hike down to this island that I was just dying to shoot at. The fact that Annie had boots in the back of her 4 Runner (in case of situations like these) solidified that these two were definitely my tribe. It was worth the hike on the snow-covered beach I dare say!
Here’s to you two! Despite the craziness and uncertainty of this Covid crisis, they chose to celebrate their love with a beautiful sunrise engagement session…six feet away from me of course. 😉 Congratulations, Annie & Chase!
