Nothing is more exciting than having a baby. For those that had to try to have a baby (like we did), this is a session that they have longed for, sometimes for months or even years. While they wait for the sweet little peanut to grow, the months are filled with dreaming, deciding names, and decorating the nursery. It’s all surreal, yet so exciting when two become three (or more if you’re my friends with twins or triplets!).
These two met me last week as the sun dipped behind the pine-covered mountains. It was a very chilly and windy shoot, but they braved the elements to celebrate this milestone in their life. Alicia is about a year and a half away of graduating with a doctorate degree and he is a deputy serving our great county. More than once he made me laugh, which I quickly had to recover because I had a job to do. That’s my kind of shoot!
In my mind, laughter is the key relationships. It brings joy even to the hardest moments in life. What a gift, right?! Well, these two have it, and their baby-to-be is one lucky kiddo. Can’t wait to do your lifestyle newborn session, Alicia and Tony!
