I titled this blog “Montana Spring Engagement Session”. What I should have titled it was “Winter Spring Engagement Session”. It was FREEZING. Poor Bryce had just gotten home from Afghanistan and was being such a trooper in the almost eighty degree temperature difference. But did I hear one complaint out of him? Nope. He was happy to make his sweet Tess have the best engagement session possible.
Now let’s back up a little bit. I met Tess at a local Starbucks this winter. I distinctly remember how cold it was that night. We sat at a little table and I listened to her share her love story, and we started dreaming up plans for her engagement session and wedding day. We made a plan to do their engagement session when Bryce returned from the middle east, and I think we both envisioned a warm and springlike engagement pictures…silly us.
What I loved about Tess was that she put so much thought and energy into her shoot–my kind of girl! From her professional make up to her styled hair (thank you Monica at Captial Barber), Tess was radiant. And it shows in every. single. image,
Congratulations you two! I am so honored you chose me to capture this fun time in your life. I’m hoping your June wedding is going to be full of sunshine and warm temps! But if not, no biggie– you’re professionals in cold weather pictures! Cheers!
