Okay. To be perfectly honest…I was HOPING these two would call me to be their wedding photographer after I had met them almost to the day, one year ago. On that day, I was taking photos of his sweet sister, in the crisp autumn air in what would turn out to be, a wedding where I was welcomed as a guest and have enjoyed SO many new friendships that began that day. Including with these two, Kylee and Ryan.
It is not often you meet a couple that simply make you want to be around them. They are kind. They are fun. And they have the BEST since of humor. My kind of bride and groom! We met on a cool October day in downtown Helena to start their engagement session. With months of planning (and the most impressive bridal binder chalk-full of goodness I have EVER seen)…it was finally the night to get these two in front of my camera.
We had just finished the first half of their downtown engagement shoot when they realized…they were locked out of their car. Yup. Classic moment. With poise and confidence, Ryan kept trying and saved the day by unlocking the car and allowing us all to go to the rural spot for their sunset shoot.
As the October light began to fade into the continental divide, we didn’t have time for the second outfit, but I didn’t care–the first one was PERFECT enough for both! I know these two will have an amazing wedding day by the way they handled this snafu! Bravo guys! I cannot wait until your wedding day!! Congrats you two!!
