Burgandy & Navy Montana Wedding

Montana weather is always interesting. It’s constantly keeping me on my toes. And if you were on of the 470 people that attended this wedding, we will always share a special bond–we survived a tornado together! WOW. For those of you just joining us, the ceremony was interrupted by a small little weather snafu that snapped multiple trees in the Helena Valley…including one right next to the ceremony site! We’ll get that in the pictures!

On a warmer note, when I uploaded the images of Kylee and Ryan’s First Look, I seriously cried. GAH. The first time Ryan saw his bride before the hustle and bustle of the wedding day was something out of a movie! Guys, I got goosebumps while shooting it–and it was over 90 degrees!! I always stress to my brides and grooms how important First Looks are because of moments like these (you will see his reaction in the photos below). If you don’t know what a First Look is, it is when a bride and groom decide to see each other for the first time before the guests arrive and the ceremony commences. It gives them a private moment to enjoy the excitement together–without hundreds of people watching them. It’s intimate. It’s special. And in this case–it was monumental! And on a side note, the couple gets SO many more images of just the two of them, because there’s no stressful rushing through photos to get to their reception! Stress free and very little time taking pictures after the ceremony! It’s a win-win!

So many moments in this wedding left me with a full heart. The way she smiles at Ryan, the way he kissed her hand when she was close by, the way their families adored them, the list goes on! And seriously…they have they have been together since middle school. Middle school! Enough said.

Words seriously cannot do their day justice. It is my hope that these images will tell a story of their wedding day. From 60mph winds, to rushing in for cover under the Kleffner Ranch Barn, this wedding was incredible! Enough chatting, let’s get to the good stuff!!
