Blue Hour Engagement Shoot

Engagement

September 19, 2024

Kaitee and Eric are so darn cute together. They compliment each other so well! Their engagement shoot was planned for a sunset shoot, however due to the intense smoke in the air, their shoot ended up looking like it was during blue hour (the time of day after the sun sets). As a photographer, I was giddy about the soft even light, and these two didn’t bat an eye when a crazy wind & rain storm came out of no where on our way to their second location!

When we arrived at the second location, I rolled my window down in gale-force winds and shouted…”Want to wait it out?!” They opted to go downtown to a more protected area to get out of the rain. In my genius mind I thought… let’s go to the top of a parking garage…Not my smartest moment, but it turned out to be a PERFECT location to end their engagement shoot and gave us room to play and have more fun!

Thanks for trusting me you two! I’m sure you were wondering if I had all my marbles that day, but I’m thankful you went for it!! Cheers!!
