I have always recognized how lucky I am to be a part of a couple’s wedding day. What an honor it is, especially in this day in age where group sizes are limited to gathering sizes by state mandates. Brice and Madisen’s wedding was no exception. In fact, just being around these two can make you feel so full of happiness that you could literally pop with joy. They are just filled with love for one another, as well as for others and it spills over to all they come in contact with.
Brice and Madisen, both first grade teachers, have overcome a lot this year. Consecutively, trying to juggle remote learning and teaching due to Covid, to trying their best to overcome the never-ending wedding planning obstacles during a pandemic, I am proud to say their wedding day was spectacular. From having to let go of the 500-person wedding dream, and narrowing it down to 50 members of their families and close friends, these two danced the night away with the biggest smiles on their faces.
No one would be able to tell that this intimate wedding wasn’t exactly what they had envisioned, but it ended up being perfect! As I drove away, I thought, “Man…I LOVED that wedding!” I think that it really boiled down to the sincerity of sharing it with a small yet powerful group of people that will be Brice and Madisen’s foundation for the future. Even during the most uncertain times, these two will remember all they had to overcome to make this amazing day happen, and they will will remember how it made them stronger than ever.
Congratulations you to the new Mr. & Mrs. Burton! You did it!! You should be so proud of yourselves–if you can get through planning a wedding in the middle of a world-wide pandemic, everything else will seem easy!
Cheers you guys!
