Lifestyle newborn shoots are my new jam. I’m semi-addicted to them. To be honest, this shoot was no exception. I wanted to exchange phone numbers with Megan and Seth as I walked out the door. They are the kind of people that are so genuine and down-to-earth, you immediately want to be insta-friends (for those of you younger followers that word means instant friends, not Instagram friends). 😉
Megan greeted me at the door with Henry in her arms, inviting me into her home with a big smile on her face. I have actually known her mother-in-law for YEARS, but had never met Seth and Megan until last weekend. What a shame! I have a sneaky suspicion I will be seeing them again some day! I have to snuggle Henry as he grows up. He was out. to. lunch. nearly the entire shoot. And the other cute baby, their sweet puppy, Bubba. Now Bubba was very interested in getting loves, but soon thought staring out the window for squirrels was much more exciting. With his new hair cut, he sat on the top of the couch and spent the majority of the shoot on lookout. Never know when a squirrel might try to get his baby. Always on guard–what a good chap!
Congratulations, Megan and Seth. You have such an amazing journey as parents ahead of you!
