Chelsi and Dan have been together for nearly six years and with 250 excited guests (and one extremely happy pup), they said their vows, mixed some dirt from their childhood homes, and danced the night away in total happiness!
The vibe? Chill, happy, and full of love. The sun was out but not too hot, the breeze was just right, and everywhere you looked people were smiling and you could feel the excitement as guests arrived.
Now, every wedding has a moment that people talk about forever. And for Chelsi and Dan, it came just as things were getting really heartfelt. Picture this: as Chelsi is walking down the aisle, suddenly their dog Oakley—clearly overwhelmed with joy—decides she must be part of it. She came flying down the aisle like a furry little rocket of happiness, zooming around their feet and wagging her tail like she just won the lottery.
The guests? Dying of laughter. Oakley? Living her absolute best life. Honestly, it was the kind of moment you hope happens—a perfect reminder that love (and dogs) don’t always stick to a script.
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was a special ritual Chelsi and Dan came up with themselves. Instead of lighting a candle or pouring sand, they each brought dirt from their childhood homes. Together, they mixed it into one pot to plant something new—a living, growing symbol of their life ahead. I loved the idea of mixing their histories into a new life ahead!
After the ceremony, the celebration kept going strong. Drinks were flowing, speeches were full of love and hilarious stories, and the dance floor saw everything from classic slow dances to full-on party moves. Kids ran around, friends reconnected over ice cream, and the bride and groom got to enjoy the celebration they have planned for a long time!
Chelsi and Dan’s wedding wasn’t just beautiful—it was joyful, relaxed, and full of moments that everyone will remember.
Here’s to love, laughter, and muddy paws. Congrats, Chelsi & Dan—you two nailed it. 💛
