Helena Cathedral Wedding

I have shot hundreds of weddings for over 20 years, but this one stood out. From the intimate small guest count of 75 of their absolute closest friends and family that welcomed me in like I was family, to the meaningful and moving mass they shared at the Helena Cathedral…this wedding was so unique and memorable.

I arrived at the Kleffner to see Sunny surrounded with her mom as her matron of honor (how special is that?!) and sisters and friends calm as can be. I sneak in the getting ready room passed an older pup –also not stressed–asleep on the floor. Sunny was just finishing up her make up and I got straight to work on her gorgeous detail shots.

The attention to detail is what made this wedding so exceptional. From the exquisite florals by Delisa at Gardenwerks Flower Farm that perfectly matched her wedding colors, to each person’s name delicately printed on name place cards for every guest, and ultimately, the bride’s Lithuanian family did a bitter & sweet blessing for them before dinner! Everyone could tell that Sunny & Logan, and their families had put a lot of time, energy, and planning into their wedding day.

Planning a wedding can be daunting, but it really boils down to making it about the love the bride and groom share, and the commitment they are promising to make. This deep, sacred sacrament was very important to Sunny and Logan, and during their catholic mass at the Helena Cathedral, the words that were shared were so moving. I even went home and shared the message with my own husband, because it was so impactful. What an incredible way to start your marriage!

Congratulations, Sunny & Logan!! I was so, so honored to have been with you every step of your special day! Cheers!
