This sunset fall engagement session was gorgeous, but we paid for it with 457 mosquito bites. However, this shoot was full of that golden hour glow and it was totally worth itching for days. These images are the ones I dream about when it’s negative temperatures outside during the long cold winter months.
Even though it was in the evening, Maddie’s fiancé, Lane, had just woken up from a long graveyard shift at work. When they arrived to the shoot, I wasn’t sure whether to greet him with a “Good afternoon!” or a “Good morning!” Poor guy was such a good sport for just waking up!
These two were just plain FUN. I loved how easy going they are, and I don’t think Maddie stopped smiling at any point during our shoot. Seeing this, anyone can tell that they’re so in love. It made my heart so happy to create these images for them!
Maddie and Lane! I sure hope you have a wonderful and fun engagement, but just remember to wear mosquito spray next time you take pictures with me…
Big hugs,
Kelly
