Mikayla and Kyle met at Carroll College years ago, and when I heard their campus proposal story, I knew part of their engagement shoot had to happen there too! These two are without a doubt destined to be together. And just from hanging out with them on their shoot, I could feel the excitement and love between them.
Mikayla, better known as Ms. Bloyder in our home, was my son’s 1st grade teacher. As I was leaving the house for her engagement shoot, he gave me the 20 questions as to what kind of shoot I was doing with his teacher that I’m pretty sure he has a crush on. I couldn’t quite break it to him that she was indeed going to marry someone else, so I just told him that I’m going to take pictures of her and her “friend”. Oh, young love. Who am I to break his heart?
