Love in the time of Covid. It’s incredible that this wedding happened in this unprecedented time, but you know what? It was an incredible event full of love and happiness. Their day was sunny and full of smiling faces when I arrived at the Cathedral of St. Helena.
When I arrived, the church was quiet and serene. The birds serenaded me with their joyful songs as I unloaded my car and prepared myself to start the day. I soon ran into the father-of-the-bride who had his hands full of florals as he came into the church. I quickly offered to help him with unloading when he surprised me with a box full of detail items that Lexi had left for me to start my day. Oh, Lexi, how I love your organizational skills!
I quickly got right to work under the shade of an elm tree outside the cathedral when Lexi and her beautiful bridesmaids arrived. From the moment she arrived to the time the day came to an end, Lexi’s grace and beauty left such an impact on me. Ted saw this early on, and quickly knew that he wanted to spend forever with her. They met at Carroll College when she was quietly praying by herself and he walked in the same room to pray. Seriously?! How divine and meant-to-be is that story?!
Their story is now beginning, and I cannot wait to see where it takes them! Congratulations Lexi & Ted!! I cannot express how thankful I am to have been part of your day and to witness a love like yours!
