Montana weddings. Pretty tough not to love them. I have driven through Plains, Montana hundreds of times on my way to visit my parents in Sandpoint, Idaho. Never did I think I would ever have a wedding there. That was until I got a message from a dear college friend, Marie, who asked me if I’d ever shoot her wedding in Plains. Heck. Yes!
Marie and Cory invited me to their future wedding venue that was nestled on a friend’s ranch in Paradise Valley near the Clark Fork River. Surrounded by pine trees and pastures, a little farm house sits by a pond that will be the backdrop for their future June wedding.
After almost ten years of not seeing each other, Marie and I reunited and reminisced on our days studying at University of Idaho together. We were both Ed majors and we had many classes together. Eventually we parted ways when it was time to do our student teaching. Funny how life brought us back together!!
Marie and Cory, I am SO excited to shoot your wedding in just a few short weeks!! Can’t wait!
